Pirates Basketball Senior Citizens Shoveling Service Project

The Hull High School Boys' Basketball Team has worked on a valuable community service project over the last five winters. The project runs in partnership with the Hull Counsel on Aging.  The Counsel provides the team with a list of senior citizens in need of assistance to clear snow during winter storms.  Once conditions are safe enough, the team then heads into the community to clear snow from these homes.

Over the last two school years, the Boys' Basketball Team has been recognized by the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association for their efforts within this community service project.

After the last week of storms, the Pirates have cleared 47.5 inches of snow at 39 homes and the Senior Center twice.
